This delicious and easy French toast recipe will impress your taste buds…and your friends.

Watch Paul and Nicole make this recipe with several different types of toasts here:

Mandatory Ingredients for 4 Slices of Toast

Croissant Toast bread from Whole Foods (Paul’s favorite) or whatever bread you like

6 Eggs

¼ cup half and half

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Salt to taste

2-6 tablespoons of butter for frying and topping

Optional Ingredients

Powdered sugar

Maple syrup (the best you can afford)

Fruits, like strawberries and blueberries

Breakfast sausage

Eggs, cooked separately, however you like them

Directions

  1. Put all mandatory ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix the ingredients with enthusiasm and vigor! Crack the egg yolks. Beat the eggs until the mixture is combined.
  3. Put 2 tablespoons of butter into a large frying pan. Allow the butter to melt.
  4. Dip each slice of toast into the egg mixture. Wait for approximately 20 seconds; flip the bread over. The toast should be thoroughly wet and absorb some of the mixture.
  5. Fry each piece of bread until it is golden and crispy.
  6. Place on a plate and slather with butter–we love Kerrygold butter.
  7. Top with a gentle dusting of powdered sugar and handful of berries.
  8. Pour over some maple syrup.

Enjoy WHILST hot!

Wind Down for the Night Juice

Today was another DAY! And I don’t mean those all caps in a nice way. Is there a way to hurl cuss words at all of a Thursday? If so, I’d like to know how to insult this entire day. But, on the bright side, I think that I found help for my tech issues.…

    Anti-Inflammatory Juice for Annoyed People

What a day! A long day, full of all of the annoyances related to a major tech snafu! But nevertheless, she persisted! Today’s juice features the anti-inflammatory powerhouse and number two hand stainer (a close second only to beets), our expensive and golden friend: ground turmeric. I added ground turmeric to my green juice today…

    UnBEETable and Easy Juice

Today is day 2 of 5 of my weeklong juice challenge. I am realizing, just today, that it is quite ambitious to produce a video per day. Producing a video per day takes almost as long as it takes to clean all of the juicer parts. If you have a juicer, you can probably relate…

    4 Ingredient Basic Green Juice

Last week, I visited a local juicery named Clean Juice (this mention is not sponsored). I accidentally ordered the 20 ounce serving of juice and it was $14. I call it an accident because I really did want the 20 ounce serving, but I was quite shocked when the cashier told me the price. Clean…
