Wind Down for the Night Juice

Today was another DAY! And I don’t mean those all caps in a nice way. Is there a way to hurl cuss words at all of a Thursday? If so, I’d like to know how to insult this entire day.

But, on the bright side, I think that I found help for my tech issues. I was able to shoot a video (although I think technically it’ll be after midnight before it’s posted). I had a great salad and even better juice for dinner. And I survived to write this blog post.

For tonight’s juice, I decided to add some relaxation tea to the mix. It’s funny how strange things can come to you when you’ve been up working and attending meetings and battling tech problems since 7:00 am. Is my judgement the best as the day grows older? No. But did this juice and tea combo still taste smooth, refreshing, delicious, and not too sweet? ABSOLUTELY.

Here’s how you can make your own:

BASIC ASS NIGHT TIME, WIND DOWN JUICE AND TEA

Ingredients:

  • 1 small – medium gala apple
  • 1/3 cup cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon raw, peeled ginger
  • A handful of parsley
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1/2 cup raw beet root
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 4-6 ounces of your favorite night time tea

Directions:

  1. Boil water and steep the tea according to packet instructions.
  2. Remove apple core.
  3. Run all fruits and vegetables through your juicer.
  4. Combine juice with tea.
  5. Add ice and enjoy!

Sounds really good but I think I’d like it for a snack type treat early evening! Great job šŸ‘šŸ¼
