Simple Ass Applesauce for One ☝️

Have you ever been to one of those fancy ass steak houses that serve pork chops? And the pork chops came with applesauce?

At the steak houses, they give you just a scant bit of the applesauce, leaving you wanting to order another pork chop to gain access to more of that sweet, tasty 😋 sauce!

Has anyone else had this experience? No? Just me? Well, regardless of your reason for wanting to make homemade applesauce, you’ve come to the right place for a basic ass applesauce recipe.

Ingredients:

one apple (I used gala)

a pinch of cinnamon

2 teaspoons of sugar (or to taste)

1/3 cup of regular ass tap water

3. Cook until the apple pieces  are tender and mashable (is that a word?), approximately 15 minutes.

4. Mash by hand to desired applesauce consistency or dirty more things to clean, like I did, by attempting to blend ONE apple in a Vitamix.

5. Enjoy on a home cooked pork chop or whatever your heart desires, I don’t care.
